PIVOT RIM CONSTRUCTION
The RS36G rims feature Pivot hookless technology. With the use of a mandrel during the manufacturing process, construction accuracy is greatly improved, resulting in a stronger, and lighter rim. The hookless bed of the rim also allows for improved tire performance based on how the tire is attached to the rim. Its shape is more efficient, thus improving rolling performance, but also more aerodynamic, as the tire is more seamless to the transition at the rim.
Asymmetrical Rim Design
The RS36G features an asymmetrical rim design. By creating an offset for the spoke holes, the stress balance between both side of the rim, improving construction durability.
36mM RIM PROFILE
The RS36G features a 36mm depth rim profile. The shallow and squat nature of the rim construction is designed to disperse the vertical loads of the bike and the rider more efficiently, greatly improving vertical compliance and comfort.
EXTRA WIDE 29mm RIM WIDTH
The extra wide 29mm external width and 25mm internal width of the RS36G provides a better interface for the tire, resulting in better retention of lateral loads, and tire performance.
DT SWISS 240 HUBS
The RS36G DT240 are built with the latest generation of the 240 hub from DT Swiss. The strengths have been further enhanced. The latest DT Swiss Ratchet EXP® freehub system increases the bearing lifetime thanks to the increased bearing distance. The hollow-machined ratchets transfers the energy invested directly into acceleration thanks to the 36 teeth.
